At the end of Morgan Falls Rd in Sandy Springs
Next the Chattahoochee River and the boat launch ramp.
Look for the tent and balloons!
Enjoy icy treats on us and some activities and give-aways for the kids! Walk the new Springway trail to the boardwalk around Orkin Lake! The 1.8-mile paved trail begins on Morgan Falls Road at the corner of the parking lot to Morgan Falls Overlook Park, continues down Morgan Falls Rd past the dog park and then turns uphill to a scenic boardwalk over Orkin Lake.
The Sandy Springs Conservancy is proud to partner with the city of Sandy Springs on the development of this first section of the Springway, and the entire Springway trail plan. The city officially opened the first section in early May, making it the newest, and most scenic outdoor recreational amenity in Sandy Springs!
Volunteers from the Sandy Springs Conservancy will be available to answer questions about the first section of the Springway trail and plans to complete remainder of the 5-mile Morgan Falls Connector loop trail.
Bring the family, kids and pets to enjoy our city’s newest paved trail, the Springway!
