SCC’s annual Thought Leader’s Dinner was held this year on April 23rd. The topic was Connecting the Dots . . . .the importance of connecting people and places. Liverpool, England, native John Crompton, author and professor at the department of recreation, park and tourism sciences at Texas A&M University, provided the keynote speech.

In the presentation “Linking People to Places,” he explained how residents choose the place they want to live in, depending on the property surroundings and what the activities the city has to offer.
