SSC at the Sandy Springs Farmers Market!

May 5, 2023 | Connect

Members of SSC’s volunteer board of directors enjoyed meeting people at the June 3 Sandy Springs Farmer’s Market! Children had fun with games and activities at our table while we chatted with parents about SSC initiatives. Come and visit us at the next Sandy Springs Farmers Market Community Nonprofit Day on Saturday, September 9, 2023!  SSC volunteers will be on hand with activities for the kids and information to share about SSC’s efforts to create, conserve, connect and bring greenspace and parks to Sandy Springs. Tell us what additional greenspace amenities you would like to see in our community!

The Farmers Market Nonprofit Days showcase community nonprofits that make Sandy Springs a better place to live. The Sandy Springs Farmers Market takes place Saturdays, April – November.   Every Saturday from 8:30am to noon, a unique selection of vendors set up shop providing an open-air opportunity to purchase fresh produce and artisan foods. Many bring their farm to your table while others offer deliciously prepared foods. Specialty goods and crafts are also available from clothing and jewelry to home decor and accessories. Take a look at our photo gallery from our visits at the 2022 Farmers Markets.
