Sandy Springs Completes Greenprint Vision!

What will Sandy Springs look like in the next 25 years? Will we have the parks, green space and open community areas we want?  How do we balance the demand for land between development and conservation, and ensure the economic health of our community? These questions and more we hope to answer with a Greenprint Sandy Springs.

A Greenprint is both a community visioning process and a land planning tool developed by The Trust for Public Land to help communities plan for future parks, green and open space. The Sandy Springs Conservancy is a funding partner for Greenprint Sandy Springs, thanks to a generous grant from United Parcel Service.

The visioning process is now complete. Read the full report here: Greenprint_Sandy_Springs_Final.pdf (1.63mb). It’s now up to the City and the community to use its powerful planning tools to implement the vision.
